嶺's Birthday party

This is 嶺 (Lin), who is a 2 years old Border Collie. He is a really friend of us. We met from Frisbee association, besides playing frisbee, we have so many activities together.

Last Saturday, We celebriate Lin's 2 years old birthday in a doggie restaurant. As you can see the big wall behind Lin is a huge picture of a Golden Retriver who belongs to the restaurant owner.

The cake!!! The cake is not for people, people don't even get a bite. That is a special cake from a bakery that only make dog cakes. This tiny cake cost Lin's mom USD $ 30, but all the dogs there get some cake.

I brought a yellow duck doggie toy for his birthday present which was from Chantel. HAHA~ I took her to a pet store, and tell Chantel to pick one for Lin in the states. Althought they both haven't get a chance to meet yet. Good to know that Lin loves that yellow duck.
I took Koby & Cedar to the party, I wich I can take Chantel and Kayla with me. but Kayla was too young, it's kind of difficult to control a 5 months old puppy in a doggie resturant. well, it's not a big resturant, so I couldn't handle her there.

In this picture, You can see Cedar was looking at my friend, Sam. Sam is a dog trainer, and Cedar was looking at him... actually looking at the cookies on his hand, hahahaha.

There is a beautiful red tri colored Australian Shepherd behind Cedar. He is Rogue, Chinese name is " Da-Fa". Da-Fa is a 7 months old Aussie puppy from Australia. Da-Fa came to Taiwan a few months ago, and seems like he is doing great here in Taiwan. Da-Fa is belongs to my friend- Sam.

There are many doggie friends there for Lin's birthday party, it's about 20 dogs there. There are only 2.5 Aussies there. One Golden Retriver of Sam, two long haired dashound (not sure how you spell it) and rest of them are Border Collies.
This littel Border Collie's name is : Q.
It's her first time to meet Cedar, seems like Cedar is not intersted in her. but Q wants to play with Cedar. What Cedar cares is his little girlfriend is in a crate. Who is Cedar's little girlfriend??? Cedar's little girlfriend is a female long-haired dashound- Niny. Niny loves to play with Cedar, and only CEDAR!!!! Niny will bite any other big dogs whom wants to play with her, but she cried when she sees Cedar but can't come out of the crate.

We need to separate Cedar and Niny because Cedar plays too rough with Niny, and I am afraid that Cedar could hurt her with accident.


My friend Sam holding Cedar for me. Rest of the dogs in this picture are Sam's dog. See how they are well trained. That Golden Retriver only had the leash on, but not tie in any place. The Border Collie on the chair is sitting there without a leash.

While I was drying Koby, Sam holds Cedar for me. from the picture, you can see Cedar was wet. Because he just went out from the swimming pool.
This doggie resturant have a swimming pool designed for dogs. So you can take the dogs there for fun, and there are a super blow dryer to dry them. I did dry it for Cedar, but still wet. haha!!!

We have dog birthday parties almost every month. This coming weekend is Niny's birthday party, and we are going to go to another doggie resturant where has green area for the dogs to run, and another swimming pool for the dogs to swim. I haven't decide which kids to go with me yet, but I will take pictures and post on here again.
